These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Puget Pages (the "Service"), operated at pugetpages.com ("Puget Pages," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, submitting a business listing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Puget Pages is an online directory that allows small businesses to create a public listing page ("Listing") and allows visitors to browse Listings and contact businesses through them. We are a listing platform, not a party to any transaction, agreement, or dispute between a business and a visitor who contacts them.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to represent the business you list to create an account. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
When you create a Listing, you represent that all information you submit — including your business name, description, contact details, and Washington Unified Business Identifier (UBI), if provided — is accurate and that you're authorized to submit it on the business's behalf.
We may review submitted UBI numbers against publicly available state records as part of a verification process, and we re-check verified Listings periodically (currently, annually). Verification indicates only that a Listing's stated business registration information matched what we could confirm at the time of review — it is not an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of a business's quality, licensing in any other respect, or trustworthiness. We may mark a Listing as unverified, needing attention, or expired, or may remove a Listing, at our discretion, including if information can't be confirmed or appears false.
You retain ownership of the text, images (including logos), and other content you submit to your Listing ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant Puget Pages a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service, including displaying your Listing publicly and in search results or social media previews.
You represent that Your Content:
Visitors may contact a Listing through a message form on the Service. Messages submitted this way are delivered directly to the associated business owner, who is solely responsible for how they use, store, or respond to that contact information. We are not a party to, and assume no responsibility for, communications or dealings between a business and a visitor who contacts them.

You may deactivate your Listing or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or remove a Listing, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms, provided false verification information, or otherwise pose a risk to the Service or its users.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY LISTING INFORMATION IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUGET PAGES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE'VE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
You agree to indemnify and hold Puget Pages harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington State.
